From the gardens and front bedrooms at Edenvale Bed & Breakfast you can take in the magnficient views of Arranmore Island across the bay.
The island is located in area known the Rosses which is a Gaeltacht region where Gaelic/Irish is the first language and forms a social and cultural region different from the rest of the county.
Ferry services are available from the fishing village of Burtonport on the mainland just outside the town of Dungloe. From this point there are regular crossings to and from the island, the ferries also have the option for you to bring your car so you can fully explore all that the island has to offer.
This is definitely a stop along the Northern headlines section of the Wild Atlantic Way that should not be missed.
