Ardara, known as The Festival Town is a lively and vibrant town which was shortlisted as a finalist in a recent Irish Times Ireland’s Best Place to Live competition and is only 14kms from Edenvale Bed & Breakfast.
Being a designated Heritage Town and also a long established centre for the manufacture of Donegal tweed it has several famous tweed “outfitters” on its main street where you can buy home-made tweed and hand-knitted sweaters. Ardara is a lively town too. The “Festival Capital of Donegal” boasts a thriving tourist trade and social scene.
